Question: Shouldn’t I wait until the last minute to book my cruise so I can get the best deals?

Answer: No! We get asked this question all the time and waiting until the last minute actually the worse time to book a vacation, especially for families. Many years ago, the best deals could be had at the last minute, but this is no longer true. First, cruise prices fluctuate based on supply and demand, and deals can be announced at any time to peak interest and increase sales. When you book with us, we monitor the prices and specials for you (most agencies won’t provide this service as it's very time consuming). If a better option becomes available, we will secure the better price, upgrade, or additional amenity. Second, all the best cabins go first – particularly those holding three or four people. If you wait until the last minute to book, you will more than likely end up in either the front or back of the ship where you’ll feel the ‘motion of the ocean’ more than if you’re in the middle of the ship. Or you’ll have to get two rooms for your family instead of just one. And third, if you need to fly to get to the ship, your airfare is going to be much higher than it would be if you had planned ahead.

Question: My spouse is not a resident of the United States and I'm concerned about them being able to re-enter the country. Is it a problem for non-residents to take vacations out of the United States and then return?

If you were born abroad, you can use:

• A Certificate of Naturalization
• A Certificate of Citizenship
• A Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America (Form FS-240)
• A Certification of Birth (Form FS-545 or DS-1350)
• If you do not have any of these documents and are a U.S. citizen, you should call the National Passport Information Center at 1-900-225-5674 for assistance.
